St. Elmo Stroll believes in the power of community

Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to celebrating what’s good - fostering community,  creating powerful connections, highlighting the unique talents of local artists and performers, and utilizing public spaces to build authentic community. We focus on fostering a welcoming environment where everyone, regardless of background, feels supported and valued, and where neighbors know and support each other.

Founded in 2020, the St. Elmo Stroll started with a Luminaria Festival and a goal to bring awareness to local food scarcity. Since then, the St. Elmo Stroll has raised over $15,000 for local non-profits like the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, Lookout Mountain Conservancy, and the Chattanooga Educational Humane Society! 

In 2025 the St. Elmo Stroll brought St. Elmo Porchfest to the neighboorhood! With the incredible support of the community - over 20 local muscians showcased their talents and brought hundreds of people together - truly highlighting the power of community. 

Our mission is simple - to celebrate connection, creativity and community in the streets of St. Elmo!
